DEPARTMENTAL UPDATE Special Edition Pink Badge Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In partnership with the Austin EMS Employee Association, the Department has worked with Galls to establish sales of special edition pink badges for sworn personnel. These badges may be ordered year-round to be worn in October for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

The pink badges are exact replicas of our current metal badge but powder-coated in pink. Each badge will be personalized with the employee’s EM number and may be purchased directly from the Galls website for $49.99 (plus tax). To place an order, please visit https://employeeatems.galls.com The user name is first initial last name and the temporary password is Galls123. Users will be prompted to create a unique password upon logging in for the first time. In order to receive the badges by October 1 st , orders must be placed by Tuesday, August 27 th .

Raising breast cancer awareness and supporting those affected is one more way we can change the lives of the people we serve. October also marks the beginning of the COA Combined Charities Campaign. As always, we encourage everyone to sign up to give to the charity of your choice.
